Samuel Adu-Gyamfi holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Historical Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana, West-Africa. He is the first trained social historian of medicine in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Presently, Dr. Adu-Gyamfi lectures in the department of History and Political Studies in KNUST. His research interests include social and Political History of Ghana, Social history of medicine, Health Policy and Hospital Administration. The others include History of Science and Technology and history of medicine in Africa including historical anthropology.
